Moin,
Habe gestern eine Coolstream Zee mit einem alten Image drauf bekommen.
Das habe Ich erfolgreich auf das aktuelle CST-nevis updaten können.
Leider habe Ich mir dann das Image zerschossen , beim Versuch Oscam zu installieren.
Die Box fährt nun nicht mehr hoch.
Bin dann wie hier im Thread
HD1 - Recovery von Kernel und Image via USB - NEO, NEO², ZEE beschrieben vorgegangen.
Leider bricht der Update Vorgang mit einer Fehlermeldung ab.
Hier die Ausgabe von Putty.
Der Kernel soll wohl zu neu für das Image sein.
Benötige Ich nun ein Rescue Image?

Es lag nur an der Dateinamenerweiterung von Windows 11.
Da wäre Ich nie drauf gekommen.
Hat dann sofort beim ersten Versuch funktioniert.

Das ist immer das erste was ich umstelle. Warum MS diesen Unsinn noch immer so handhabt verstehe ich nicht. Denn das Ausblenden von Dateierweiterungen ist ein massives Sicherheitsproblem.

.. das hat nichts mit Windows11 zu tun, die Dateierweiterungen werden bei Windows schon ewig bei einer Standardinstallation ausgeblendet, was wie bereits erwähnt in meinen Augen auch Unfug ist, da auch seit einigen Versionen beim Umbenennen die Erweiterungen ohnehin nicht mit markiert werden und unberührt bleiben.
Das ist aber kein Problem, wird nach der 1. Installation geändert.
