Official (Coolstreamtech) ZEE & NEO v2 Emergency Flash Instructions

Are required:
1x USB stick (FAT32 formatted)
1. On this USB stick create a directory named "coolstream"
2. In this directory coolstream copy the files below, unpacked files as kernel.img and system.img.
Both are attached as download ...
3. Switch off the switch.
4. Insert the USB stick into the USB port on the front of the device.
5. Start the device.
6. The Power LED will now light "on / off" and then "on", then press the power button on the device.
7. The control light of the USB stick should now flash, indicating that the flash operation has started.
Release the power button.
8. You need a little patience now. After the process has finished, the box will automatically restart.
9. The box should now boot again.

No...that's to long i think.....

Are you sure that your usb Stick is right for working with the Zee.....

Is the USB stick recognized by the Zee?

Try a new format of the USB stick with this tool.....

download/file.php?id=997


Open the exe file of createmini as an administrator and formate the stick.....

Have you format your usb sticks with the create mini tool and tryed again...?

Update online is the easyest way.

pls put on a usb stick which is recognized by the zee the following steps:

In this way, the kernel and / or the system can be restored without a PC!

By doing this pls make a logfile:

This logfile you have to upload here in the board with ending txt. !!!!!

Then the NI guys can see where possibly the error is !!!!
